Pokémon Crystal:

Pokemon Crystal (previously Pokemon X) will feature not only, in the words of Nintendo themselves, "new mysteries and features," but will also include the ability to trade Pokemon with other Pokemaniacs from a distance by using the Mobile Adapter GB and a cellphone. Not only to trade Pokemon over the air, Nintendo also promises to include the ability to start battles from afar, or continue ones started previously. In addition to the network features, a new unnamed character has been revealed, and the Pokemon themselves have been given additional animations. Pokemon Crystal will also be compatible with Pokemon Stadium 2 (JAP 3). Nintendo states that the story itself will be nearly identical to Pokemon Gold/Silver (kind of like Pokemon Yellow to Pokemon Red/Blue).

Pokemon Crystal is for GBC (not GBA) and has been confirmed to be released on December 4 this year in Japan.
